A July 9, 2005 wedding is being planned by Heather Rognon and Brett Schmidt, both of Marietta, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Linda Rognon of Zanesville, Ohio. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Allen and Ellen Schmidt of Stafford, Va.

The bride-elect graduated in 2000 from Zanesville High School and in 2004 from Marietta College, earning a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. She is pursuing a doctorate degree in psychology at Ohio University.

Her fiancé graduated in 2001 from Butler High School. He is attending Marietta College and pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in early childhood education.
