A Jan. 29 wedding is being planned by Pittsburgh residents Melissa Crawford and Dean Bryan.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Samuel and Sandra Crawford of Cabot. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Miles and Kyong Bryan of Saxonburg.

The bride-elect graduated in 1998 from Knoch High School and in 2002 from Slippery Rock University, earning a bachelor of science degree in business administration. She is pursuing a master’s degree in public and international affairs at the University of Pittsburgh. She is employed by the governor’s office in Harrisburg.

Her fiancé graduated in 1998 from Knoch High School and earned a bachelor of science in athletic training in 2003 and a master’s in athletic training in 2004, both from California University. He works for Riverside Medical in Steubenville, Ohio.
