Dolores Anderson
Dolores J. Anderson, 84, of Butler, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Newhaven Court at Clearview.
She was born Jan. 21, 1941, in Butler, to the late Peter and Josephine (Christofano) Miano.
Dolores graduated from Butler High School in 1959. She then held a 36-year-long career with Butler Area Food Service, most of which was spent as the lead senior high cook. Dolores also shared her talents as a cook with the customers of Natili North in the evenings. She was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church. In her younger years, Dolores was a member of Lyndora Drum and Bugle Corps. Most recently, Dolores enjoyed playing bingo and cards with dear friends, as well as spending time with her loving family.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Angie Henry; granddaughter, Samantha (Cody) Coppinger; sister, Angela (Reinhold) Dally; sister-in-law, Deb (Peter) Miano; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Ralph E. Anderson; her brother, Peter Miano Jr.; and her sister, Patricia (James) Weber.
ANDERSON — Family and friends of Dolores J. Anderson, who died Monday, July 7, 2025, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at the funeral home, with Pastor Joel Benson, of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.
A private burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
