Butler library offering computer classes
A series of classes that begins this months at the Butler Area Public Library will introduce participants to computer and online basics.
The free program consists of four topics, or modules, said Anita Bowser, the library’s information services manager, and each module has three to five sessions.
“Module one begins this month and focuses on digital basics, such as beginner internet and computer skills,” Bowser said. “In the fall, we will host modules to help people search for work and perform telehealth using computers.”
Module 1 begins July 28, and classes will be at 6 p.m. every Monday through Aug. 25 at the library.
The library will provide laptops during instructional sessions. Registration is required by July 27. All sessions are free and open to the public. To register, contact Bowser at abowser@bcfls.org or 724-287-1715.
