Verna Hopper, 85, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 14, 1926, in Pittsburgh.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Linda (Larry) Schlemmer of Gilbert, Ariz.; a stepson, Daniel (Gaylene) Hopper of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandsons, Eddie, Max, Bobby Dan and Jeremiah; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hopper, who died Dec. 12, 2011, and a great- grandson.
