Constance L. “Connie” Carpenter

Constance L. “Connie” Carpenter, 70, of Butler passed away at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville.

She was born April 18, 1945, in Butler to the late Clyde Albert Trofimuk and the late Christine Marie (Warren) Trofimuk.

Connie attended Beauty School in Washington, D.C., then went on to work as a beautician for the Senate Hair Salon in Washington, D.C. Later in her life she worked as a cashier at a 7-Eleven in Seattle, Wash.

Connie was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, movies and cooking.

Connie is survived by two sons, Russell Carpenter and his wife, Tammy, of Butler and Anthony Lee Carpenter of Auburn, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one niece.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant sister and one brother, Earl A. Trofimuk.

CARPENTER — There will be no public visitation or funeral service for Constance L. “Connie” Carpenter, who died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015.Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
