Tornado shut out Foxes

Wade Grubbs and Doug Moran each scored goals to lift the Butler boys soccer team to a 2-0 shutout win over Fox Chapel on Saturday.

Butler goalkeepers Tim Duffy and Zeke O'Donnell kept the Foxes off the scoreboard.

Butler stays undefeated with the win at 11-0-1 and will travel to section foe Pine-Richland on Tuesday.

Knoch 3, Highlands 2 (OT) — Gino Gomori's second goal of the game gave the Knights this overtime win. Travis Tasker also scored for Knoch.Girls SoccerKarns City dropped a home game to District 10's Fairview, 3-0 on Saturday.The Gremlins (9-3) play at Brookville Thursday.Junior Varsity TennisAlycia Double, Melanie Ward and Rachel Wilson each won their singles matches as Butler's junior varsity downed Mars, 4-1 Friday.The doubles duo of Jeannine Hollobaugh and Jaimie Daum earned Butler's other win in the match.
