Robert A. Brown, 64, of Chicora, passed away the morning of Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Butler on Sept. 16, 1960, as the son of Helen L. (Bieber) Brown and the late Thomas William Brown.

Robert graduated from Moniteau High School, Class of 1980. He was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church and formerly worked at the Butler VA Medical Center in the food service department for 33 years. He also worked at Camp Lutherlyn.

He is survived by his mother, Helen; one brother, Ronald (Lisa Ann) Brown of Florida; one aunt, B. Naomi Sholes; two nieces; and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Charles and Thomas Jr.

BROWN — Family and friends of Robert A. Brown, who died Saturday, June 21, 2025, will be received for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 23, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Family and friends will also be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Zion Lutheran Church, 266 Zion Church Road, Chicora.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor Bill Oehlschlager officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Muddy Creek Cemetery.
