Susan R. Setting

Susan R. Setting, 49, of Cranberry, Venango County, passed away at 3:25 a.m. Monday in the Golden Living Center, Shippenville, Pa.

She was born Dec. 2, 1962, in Butler to Rodger Cain and the late Janet Marie (Beck) Cain.

Susan was a member of the Edenburg Presbyterian Church in Knox.

She was a former cashier at Shop-’n-Save in Butler and most recently she worked at Miller Fall Protection in Franklin.

Susan is survived by her husband, Matthew, who she married March 26, 1982; three sons, Michael Cain and his wife, Misty, of Knox, Matthew Lewis Setting Jr. and his wife, Stephanie, of Butler and Mark Allen Setting of Cranberry; one daughter, Katina Skinner and her husband, Richard, of Cranberry; six grandchildren, with one on the way; her father, Rodger Cain; three sisters, Debbie Marie Sheugot and her husband, Richard, of Texas, Janet McMasters of Las Vegas, Nev., and Julie Steyers of Butler; and also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Marie (Beck) Cain.

SETTING — Friends of Susan R. Setting, who passed away Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m.

The burial will be in the West Sunbury Presbyterian Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family defray funeral costs.
