Thomas “Tucker” Campbell, 89, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

He was born in Evanston, Ill., to the late Wendell and Gladys (Ruhlman) Campbell.

Thomas attended Penn State and University of Pittsburgh and honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was a co-owner of Family Bowling Lanes, sold insurance as a broker and was also a coal broker.

Thomas was an avid Penn State fan. His parents, “Mom and Pop” owned and operated the Inn Confectionery. Thomas was a member of the Butler Victory Masonic Lodge 272 and the Moose Lodge.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Carol (Rieger) Campbell; father of Lori (John) Parke, Brad (Loyd Ritchson) and Erik Campbell; grandfather of Emily (Tom) Baker, Evan Parke, Allison and Ashley Campbell; and great-grandfather of Zairiah, Jaxon, Legend and Capri. He is also survived by his Boston terrier, Phoebe.

Along with his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Campbell; and his great-granddaughter, Florence.

CAMPBELL — All services for Thomas “Tucker” Campbell, who died Tuesday, May 27, 2025, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
