Arliene M. Frazier
Arliene M. Frazier, 98, of Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople, died at 10:06 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 16, 1908, in Warren, Pa., she was the daughter of Fred and Margaret Maeder Gafner.
Her husband, the Rev. Roy L. Frazier, died Sept. 16, 1988.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Emanuel United Church of Christ in Warren. She was a gifted church soloist and also served as choir director and church educator.
Mrs. Frazier was a member of the Emanuel Club and was a quilter and quilt designer. She was creative in the culinary area and always had room for one more at her table.
She became a licensed beautician in the late 1930s and was one of the first licensed beauticians in Pennsylvania.
She is survived by two sons, Bradoak R. Frazier and his wife, Judy, of High Point, N.C., and Roy DuPree Frazier and his wife, Peggy, of Butler; a daughter, Laurel Frazier Shimek of Sarver; four grandchildren, Joshua D. and the Rev. Nathan M. Frazier, Marcy Frazier Mather and Lori Frazier Taylor; and five great-grandchildren, Joseph and Jacob Mather, Mia and Dillon Taylor and Adeline Frazier.
<B>FRAZIER </B>— There will be no public visitation. Memorial services for Arliene M. Frazier, who died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Emanuel United Church of Christ in Warren with the Rev.
