In response to September flooding in Western Pennsylvania, the
Rich-Mar Rotary Club of Mars recently donated $1,584.27 to the Rotary Club of Carnegie.
The flooding had damaged the restaurant where the Carnegie club held their meetings.
"We are helping a member of our Rotary family to get back to doing the service business of the Rotary," said Jack Nicklas of the Rich-Mar Club.
Ramona Nelson, a professor at Slippery Rock University, has been named a 2004 fellow by the American Academy of Nursing.Nelson will be inducted into the academy during a ceremony Nov. 13 in Washington, D.C.A professor at SRU since 1994, Nelson has worked to combine computer information and nursing science to create new approaches in the delivery of health care.
