During the annual Christmas party hosted by the Society St. Vincent de Paul of Butler County on Dec. 11, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus entertained the children, giving away toys and goodies.

More than 200 food baskets and Rotary Turkey Roundup vouchers were given to Butler County residents in need.

The number of those in need increases every year. It is with the generosity of Butler County churches, businesses and individuals that we are able to fill this need.

Every request was filled and every child received a toy from Santa.

Thanks to all of you in the Butler County area that made it possible. You provided the joy and we were able to spread it.

Thanksgiving and Christmas may come and go, but the need continues. Our food bank is open from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. Information is available at www.svdpbutler.org.
