Slippery Rock University junior Suzie Knox was crowned Miss Pennsylvania Coed for 2005 recently.

A dance major at SRU, she is active in the Dance Theater program and has twice served as choreographer for the Slippery Rock Middle School musical.

Last semester, she was chosen to perform with the Jose Limon dance company in April in New York City.

The daughter of John and Barbara Knox of York, she will advance to the 22

nd

annual national pageant scheduled during the week of Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World in Florida.

In addition to the title, more than $25,000 in cash awards, prizes and scholarships will be awarded. She will also compete in talent, photogenic and modeling contests during the week.
