RADIO REPAIR

Dave Parkhill, right, a member of the Butler County Amateur Radio Association, shows Nash Ventura, a member of Cub Scout Pack 51 in Saxonburg, how a soldering iron is used to assemble components of a radio at the Moraine Trails Boy Scout Center in Butler. The scouts were guests at the association's Tuesday meeting, where they learned about the components of a radio and Morse code and had the opportunity to communicate with two-way radios. The Butler County Amateur Radio Association welcomes youth groups interested in learning about amateur radio. For information, contact Howard Worley at 724-968-3079.
