The program, taught by BC3 math professor Bessie Jefferies, let the girls create a mechanical hand out of construction paper, make a robotic effector out of paper cups and string, and build and program a robotic car. Jefferies is the Girl Scouts' liaison with NASA and teaches the scouts information presented to her by the agency's scientists.
