DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME
Butler Catholic School students Karrik Gibson, Olivia Yeager, Anna Nguyen and Kayne Etzel show the turkey clocks they made for a lesson on Daylight Saving Time.
Second-grade students at Butler Catholic School made turkey clocks while learning about Daylight Saving Time during an activity Friday at the school. After learning about the founder and history of Daylight Saving Time, the students created clocks with hands on 2 o'clock, as a reminder that at 2 a.m. Sunday clocks will be turned back an hour. The lesson was led by teachers Shauna Hohn and Rosemary Watson.
