Thomas “Tommy” M. Dudash, 73, of Scott Township, New Castle, passed away peacefully Monday, June 2, 2025, with his niece by his side.

Tom was born in New Castle on May 12, 1952, to the late Michael and Clara Ruth (Jones) Dudash.

He graduated from New Wilmington High School, Class of 1970. He was a Boy Scout and a member of Future Farmers of America in his younger years. He worked at local auto dealerships in the 1970s, before he created his own business, Dudash Auto Body, in Harlansburg, Pa. He also drove school bus and worked at PennDOT through the years.

He loved cars, riding his motorcycles, snowmobiles and tinkering in his garage with anything mechanical. He had a deep love for his family and had many pets through the years that he loved and cared for.

He is survived by his niece, Jennifer “Jenny” L. Dudash, and great-nephew, Jenson D. Dudash, both of Slippery Rock; an aunt, Alice Mae Dudash of Portersville; and several loving cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, David E. Dudash; and a sister, Pamela O. Dudash, who passed away at the age of 9.

DUDASH — The family of Thomas “Tommy” M. Dudash, who died Monday, June 2, 2025, will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday June 6, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. A service will follow at 6 p.m., conducted by Pastor William C. Mumaw II.

Interment will be private on Monday June 9, at Plain Grove North Cemetery.
