Portersville Christian School’s commencement took place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at the school.

The speakers were valedictorian Cora Plank, and salutatorian Aubrey Gordley.

Cora is the daughter of Robin and Jason Plank, of Slippery Rock. During her time at Portersville Christian School, she was president of student council, a member of National Honor Society and participated in Fine Arts. She plans to attend Grove City College next fall to study political science.

Aubrey is the daughter of Monica and David Gordley, of Slippery Rock. During her time at Portersville Christian School, she was class president, a member of student council, National Honor Society and on the cross country team. Aubrey plans to attend Waynesburg University next fall to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
