I. Paul Bhame
I. Paul Bhame, 94, of Indiana, Pa., formerly of Mars and Zelienople, passed away Saturday morning at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
Born March 21, 1921, in Zelienople, he was the son of the late Ira W. and Weltha E. Weller Bhame.
Paul had been a pipe cleaner for the Pittsburgh Pipe Cleaning Co., later known as GPX.
He had served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and belonged to the Zelienople American Legion.
Paul was a member and former elder, deacon and clerk of session at the Mars United Presbyterian Church, where he was active on the A-Team. He also belonged to the Zelienople Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Schott of Escondido, Calif., and Ruth Thomas in Indiana, Pa.; a brother, William Bhame in Florida; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne V. Lockard Bhame, who died Jan. 16, 1999; his son-in-law, James B. Schott; two sisters, Elmina Lewis and Ruth Wilson; and one brother, Omar V. Bhame.

Paul Bhame, who died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, with the Rev. Nathan Esser, pastor, officiating.
