Phillip ‘Pooch’ Mennor

Phillip B. “Pooch” Mennor, 77, of Butler, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025.

He was born March 6, 1948, in Butler, the son of the late John Steven Mennor Sr. and Wilhelmina (Ott) Mennor.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had worked at Wetterau Inc., SuperValu Inc. and at Butler Memorial Hospital as security. He was a member of the American Legion – Lyndora, East Butler Firemen Club, VFW, Moose and Sons of Italy, all in Butler. He enjoyed golfing and trivia with family. Pooch was known for his great sense of humor.

Surviving are his daughter, Daisy (Josh) Radle of Butler; son, Phillip B. Mennor II of Butler; his grandsons, Ethan and Aidan Radle of Butler; two brothers, John S. (Dixie) Mennor II and Daniel B. (Joyce) Mennor, both of Fenelton; sister, Suzanne (James) Graham of Chicora; several nieces and nephews; and his companion and best friend, Connie Reeder of Slippery Rock.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna (Hall) Mennor, who passed away on July 31, 2019; and his infant brother, Timothy Mennor.

MENNOR — Friends of Phillip B. “Pooch” Mennor, who died Saturday, April 26, 2025, will be received from 4 p.m. until the time of the blessing service at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. His cousin, Father Tyler J. Bandura, VF, will officiate.

Private burial with military honors will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
