Nancy P. Gershak, 63, of Bradys Bend died Thursday at Clarion Hospital.

Born May 11, 1949, in Butler, she was the daughter of John J. and Modesta A. (Albini) DiGiammarino.

Nancy was a 1967 graduate of East Brady High School, where she was the Laurel Queen.

She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Bradys Bend.

She worked at the Moonlight Mushroom Mine for 10 years, USIS in Boyers for three years and the Bradys Bend T-shirt factory for 13 years.

Nancy enjoyed gardening, flowers, birdwatching and nature. She loved beautiful days and animals. She'll be remembered for her keen sense of recollection and for always being a beautiful mother and grandmother.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Gerald Gershak of Kaylor; one daughter, Gabriele Gershak of Bradys Bend; one son, Noah Gershak of Kaylor; four sisters, Jeanette Snyder and her husband, Larry, of Eau Claire, Antoinette McCall and her husband, Brad, of Petrolia, Denise Marano of Bradys Bend and Patricia DiGiammarino of Fayetteville, N.C.; one brother, John DiGiammarino of Sugarcreek Township; one grandson, Sebastian Walters of Bradys Bend; and many nieces and nephews.
