James ‘Jim’ Ford
James “Jim” Ford, 66, of Worthington, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, surrounded by his family after a long, hard-fought battle.
He was born in Pittsburgh on Dec. 28, 1958, to the late Harold and Virginia (Jones) Ford.
Jim was a local businessman who took immense pride in setting a high standard in everything he did. He inspired others with his flawless workmanship and meticulous attention to detail, always striving for perfection.
He was known for being funny, smart, hardworking and a devoted family man who loved spending time with his family and was an avid collector of all sports memorabilia. In his free time, Jim enjoyed baseball, listening to music, camping, sports and bowling. He was a member of the French & Belgium Club of Butler.
Jim was the beloved partner of Cindy; father of James (Kristen) Ford, Autumn Ruth and Amanda (Brian) Alley; brother of Mary (Edward) Mence, Edward (Mary Ann), John “Jack” (Carol) and Richard (Valerie) Ford; and grandfather of Easton and Delilah Ford and Italia DeBacco. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his siblings, Gloria (George) Raiders, Harold “Bud” (Johanna) Ford Jr. and Patricia (Jack) Karadus.
We will be forever grateful to the Kittanning AHN Cancer Center, Dr. Finley, and the home health nursing, hospice and staff from AHN who provided truly exceptional, compassionate care.
