Slippery Rock will get a visit from a mobile Wreaths Across America education exhibit on June 3.

From noon to 7 p.m., the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit will stop at Slippery Rock Park, 320 N. Main St. in Slippery Rock, bringing with it interactive exhibits, short films and shared stories.

The exhibit serves as a mobile museum, educating visitors about the service and sacrifice of military personnel and acts as a ‘welcome home’ station for U.S. Vietnam Veterans.

Public tours for the exhibit are free and open to the public. Members of the media, dignitaries, veterans and other interested groups are urged to visit, ask questions, share stories and experience the exhibit, according to a news release from Wreaths Across America.
