Barry Gregory Miller, 49, of Yellow Creek Road, Pros-pect, Thursday morning lost his battle with leuk-emia, which he so bravely fought since August.

Born May 29, 1957, in Butler, he was the son of the late Roy C. and Edna Pearl Weidenhof Miller.

He owned and operated the Atlas Tree Service in this area for years.

Mr. Miller was a Protestant.

He enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, hunting, camping and car cruises.

He is survived by his wife Rintha Phillippi Miller, whom he married Jan. 30, 1976; two daughters, Sherry Schmitt of Prospect and Mrs. Wesley (Tonya) Aspinall of Chicora; a granddaughter, Jewel Schmitt of Harmony, and a grandson, Tyler Aspinall of Chicora.

He also is survived by two brothers, Roy Miller of Waterboro, S.C., and Conrad Miller of Butler; two sisters, Charlene Kriebel of Grove City and Judy Curtis of Orlando, Fla.; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Maryann Phillippi of Ellwood City; two brothers-in-law, Scott Phillippi of Ellwood City and Sam Phillippi of West Middlesex; and two sister-in-laws, Robin Boots of New Castle and Mrs. Bill (Beckie) Shirey of Wampum. He also is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

<B>MILLER </B>— Friends of Barry Gregory Miller, who died Thursday, March 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Carmen Venezi, pastor of the United Brethren in Christ Church of Ellwood City, officiating. Burial will be at the Crown Hill Cemetery, Prospect.For information go to www.raisleyfuneralhome.com.
