Keith Bennett Wilson, 66, formerly of Butler, lost his battle with leukemia on Thursday in Fort Myers, Fla., surrounded in love by his wife and his four children.

He was born on Sept. 24, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, to Pearl Bruckelmeyer Wilson and the late William Wilson.

Keith graduated in 1965 from Butler High School and attended Youngstown University in Ohio.

He retired in 2012 after working 42 years for Leaseway Transportation and Kenan Advantage Group, where he was regional vice president of operations.

He raised his four children in Franklin and resided in West Sunbury before retiring and moving to Florida.

Keith enjoyed playing golf with his many friends at Oakview Golf Club in Florida. He also enjoyed playing tennis, playing four-square with his grandkids, cheering on the Steelers and hunting. Spending time with his family, especially his four children and 11 grandchildren, was a big part of his life.

Keith is survived by his loving wife, Marsha Crouch Wilson; his four children, Kimberly (Rob) Burch, Keith (Christa) Wilson, Keri (Chris) Sands and Kert (Aimee) Wilson; his 11 grandchildren, Jordan, Lindsey, Madison, Garrett, Mackenzie, Jackson, Sydney, Carson, Ethan, Blake and Jack; his dear mother, Pearl Wilson; his two sisters, Jeannine (Richard) Davis and Arlene (Tom) Rusnica; and his many nieces and nephews.

Wilson — A memorial service to celebrate the life of Keith Bennett Wilson, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, will take place later in Pennsylvania.Donations can be made in Keith's memory to Hope Hospice at hopehospice.org or at 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
