Mick Fennell pitched seven strong innings and Zane Voltz had a big two-run single in the sixth as Saxonburg grabbed Game 3 of its best-of-five Eagle County League semifinal series against Mars II with a 6-4 win at Butler County Community College Wednesday evening.

Fennell struck out five and scattered five hits in the win. Only one run was earned.

Fennell also had a pair of singles and an RBI for Saxonburg, which took a 2-1 series lead.

Saxonburg can wrap up the series with a win today over Mars II. First pitch is 6 p.m. at Callery.
