Matt Baranchak fanned 10 batters in a complete-game shutout as Saxonburg defeated Mars 5-0 in Eagle County League baseball play on Tuesday.

Baranchak, who walked four in the win, allowed only one hit — Brendan Malone’s single in the fifth inning.

Dustin Lalle singled twice and drove in a run for Saxonburg (3-0-1). Zane Voltz and James Connelly both added a single and RBI and Mick Fennell singled twice.

Jimmy Devine shouldered the loss for Mars.
