June Pauline Heeter, 88, of Butler, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025.

She was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Herman, the daughter of the late Louis Frederick and Edna (Wagner) Bachman.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Three Ts group. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, baking bread and, most of all, spending time with her family. She was also known to talk for hours on the phone with friends.

Surviving are her daughter, Debbie (Art) Vogel of Butler; her son, Tim (Chris) Heeter of East Brady; and four grandchildren, Brittany (John) Bielewicz of Harmony, and Shawn, Emily and Eric Heeter of East Brady. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Dakota and Ivy Bielewicz of Harmony; and two brothers, Dave (Bonnie) Bachman and Phillip (Vicki) Bachman, all of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Richard Heeter, who passed away Dec. 15, 2012; and her granddaughter, Ashley Marie Heeter.

HEETER — Friends of June Pauline Heeter, who died Monday, May 12, 2025, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 15, at YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., Butler, PA 16001, with Pastor David Phillips officiating.

Private burial will be in Gruenwald Cemetery, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Meals on Wheels, 218 E. Jefferson St., Butler, PA 16001 or St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
