Grace E. Markovich, 99, of Saxonburg passed away Sunday at the Saxony Health Center.

Born Oct. 21, 1917, in Cabot, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Florence Westerman Bicker.

Grace was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Saxonburg.

Surviving are her son, Richard (Betsy) Markovich of Saxonburg; her son-in-law, Ron Snyder Sr. of Butler; her sister, Lillian Locke of New Castle; two grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; three great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John (Abe) Markovich, who died Aug. 18, 1995; her son, Leroy Markovich; her daughter, Norma Snyder; her brother, Richard Bicker; and two sisters, Elsie Walters and Olive Kennedy.

MARKOVICH — Friends of Grace E. Markovich, who died Sunday, March 5, 2017, will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will follow at noon at the funeral home with the Rev. Roger G. Keller officiating.
