William David Peterson, 82, of Concordia Lutheran Havens in Cabot, formerly of Forest Hills, passed away Wednesday.

He was the beloved husband of 50 years to Barbara (Patterson) Peterson; loving father of Joanna (John) Blazeck of Mt. Lebanon and Julie Donolo of Turtle Creek; cherished grandfather of Olivia, Alana and Ashley; and dear brother-in-law of Suzy and Dan Weber and George Patterson Jr.

Bill retired from Bettis Atomic Power Lab in West Mifflin in 1992 as a senior programmer in the math department. He was a very active, long-time member of Christ Lutheran Church in Forest Hills where he loved to serve the Lord.

PETERSON — Friends of William David Peterson, who passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012, will be received at WOLFE MEMORIAL, Forest Hills Chapel, 3604 Greensburg Pike, 412-731-5001, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 11:30 a.m. Monday.
