Bridge to nowhere.
You are right, the bridge never was built, but Palin still took the money anyway, and used it for other things! "In light of the furor over the “bridge to nowhere,” Alaska’s governor opted to use the money for other pursuits." It wasn't like she dídn't spend my money!

"Claims of a huge disparity are untrue. Actually, an apples-to-apples comparison shows that the two inaugurations likely cost about the same."

VACATIONS: again, factcheck.org
President Obama has spent all or part of 26 days "on vacation" during his first year as president, according to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller.
President George W. Bush spent even more time away from the presidential mansion in the nation’s capital than Reagan (who took 42 days). Of the 77 total "vacation" trips the former president made to his Texas ranch while in office, nine of them — all or part of 69 days — came during his first year as president in 2001, according to Knoller.
It’s worth mentioning that President Obama has also made 11 trips — all or part of 27 days — to Camp David, the presidential retreat in Frederick County, Md. Knoller, however, says he doesn’t count trips to Camp David as part of any presidents’ "vacation" time. But for the sake of comparison, President George W. Bush, made more trips to that country residence than Obama. According to Knoller, Bush made 25 trips — a total of 78 days — to Camp David in 2001.
So, lets do the math, shall we? Bush took 77 days + 78 days at Camp David = 155 days of vacation in his first year - Thats 5 months of vacation!! Slap!
Obama took 26 + 27 days = 53 days, not even 2 months!
Get into office illegally, slap! Corrupt the entire voting system, slap! Start an illegal war, slap. Use extraordinary rendition and torture, slap. Alienate the entire world, slap, slap.
