PITTSBURGH — Former Butler YMCA Barracuda swimmer Mallory Marzolf, a freshman at Chatham University, has been named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Swimmer of the Week.
Marzolf secured four individual first-place finishes and swam on three first-place relays for the Cougars in two meets. Her time of 58.86 seconds in the 100-meter butterfly ranks 18th in Division III.

HARRISONBURG, Va. — Seneca Valley graduate Jordan Brown is a senior safety on the James Madison University football team and leads the squad with five interceptions.
Brown is second on the tyeam with 45 tackles. The Dukes (9-0) have won 21 consecutive games.
[naviga:h3]Youth bowlers top 40-frame tourney[/naviga:h3]
Butler youth bowlers took up eight of the top 10 finishing positions at the Ron Dalesandro 40-Frame Scholarship Tournament recently at Mohawk Lanes.
Nathan Kriess finished first with a 1,249 series and won a $300 scholarship. Reegen Malis was second at 1,115, Marty Imhof and Ethan Nevel were third and fourth, respectively, at 1,113.
Zac Kniess placed sixth, Natalie Erskine seventh, Zane Gagliardi eighth and Nicole Nebel 10th.
