Langa

Theodore Joseph Langa, of Prospect, passed away Monday morning, May 5, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Mary F. Kudamik Langa.

He married Dorothy Fry Langa on Oct. 6, 1972.

After graduating from Butler High School in 1957, he began working at Armco Steel, retiring in 1996.

He was a member of Grace of Calvary Lutheran Church until its closing.

He was a member of Harmony Lodge No. 429, Scottish Rite in New Castle and a social member of Meridian Vets Club.

Ted loved riding his Harley and working on vehicles in his younger years. He and Dorothy loved camping and traveling coast to coast visiting family and friends and many landmarks.

Surviving are his loving wife and best friend, Dorothy; his stepchildren, Debra Romo (Ryan Smith), Jeffrey (Cindy) Marburger and Steven (Terri) Marburger; daughters, Denise (Patrick) Ritzert, Melanie (Denny) McKnight, Sabra Gray and Thea Taylor; his siblings, Thomas (Donna) Langa and Irene Delaney; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Langa.

He will miss his buddy calls.

Cremation services were entrusted to RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
