Bernard Miller Jr.
Bernard Michael Miller Jr., 77, of Prospect, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, following an illness.
Born April 7, 1948, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Bernard Michael and Grace Edith Baitman Miller Sr.
He began his career as a machinist at Ellwood City Forge and then worked as a manager at Lowe’s in Butler, retiring in 2012.
Bernard loved fishing in rivers and Lake Erie. He loved and will be missed by his baby girl, “Buffy,” his Bichon doggy.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann Williams Miller, whom he married June 11, 1967; his daughter, Angela D. (Shane Johnson) Miller Elkins of Montana; daughter-in-law, Michelle Miller of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Jessica “Jesse” (Pepper) Elkins, Samantha (Wesley) Elkins Bruski, Shane Michael (Jeanette) Miller, Tyler (Kit) Miller and Devan (Jessica) Miller; great-grandchildren, Connor Miller, Olivia Miller and Sophia Miller; his siblings, Grace (Thomas) Kelly of Florida, Paul (Ellen Mary) Miller of Butler, Martin (Jennifer) Miller of Hawaii, Larry (Nancy) Miller of Punxsutawney and Cindy (Fred) Schaeffer of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Andrew Miller.
MILLER — Visitation for Bernard Michael Miller Jr., who died Sunday, May 4, 2025, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 9, at RAISLEY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 387 Main St., Prospect.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ben Oesterling, of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Prospect, officiating.
