Gavula

Senta A. Gavula, 92, of Mars, formerly of Butler and Saxonburg, passed away Saturday afternoon, May 3, 2025, at Concordia of Cranberry.

Born Aug. 2, 1932, in Holzminden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Heinreich and Frieda Meyer Brakhane.

Senta had been a vo-tech teacher at A.W. Beattie Tech in McCandless Township.

She had been a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot.

Surviving are her son, John Erik Gavula and his wife, Audrey, of Mars; and her granddaughter, Rooney.

GAVULA — Friends of Senta A. Gavula, who died Saturday, May 3, 2025, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Private entombment will be in Butler County Memorial Park, Butler.
