Firefighters check smoke at Harrisville bank
HARRISVILLE — Firefighters have responded to the First National Bank building at 124 Main St. for smoke in the basement.
A radio transmission from the scene said the smoke may be coming from an electrical breaker box.
The call came into the county 911 center at 10:33 a.m.
Firefighters have set up exhaust fans to clear the smoke from the building.
A telephone call to the bank at 10:55 a.m. was not answered.
