Multiple fire departments responded a fire at a metal barn near 156 Landgraf Rd. in Donegal Township on Thursday afternoon.

DONEGAL TWP — Multiple fire departments are responding to a barn fire on Landgraf Road in Donegal Township on Thursday evening.

The call of a barn on fire at 156 Landgraf Road came over emergency dispatch radio around 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to the owner of the barn, he placed his mower in the barn after mowing his lawn and went to work on another chore. While working, he said he smelled something burning and returned to find the barn on fire.

The owner said he rushed into the barn and evacuated seven cows that were inside along with some big equipment that was stored in the building.
