Atria Cranberry Woods opens for residents
Atria Senior Living has opened its third Pittsburgh-area community with the new Atria at Cranberry Woods.
The new community has welcomed its first new residents in compliance with Atria's COVID-19 safety protocols.
Atria at Cranberry Woods is located at 3020 Fairport Lane in Cranberry Township.
It is Atria's sixth community in Pennsylvania. In January, the company opened Atria McCandless just 10 miles south of Cranberry Township.
The community features 183 apartments, with 96 for independent living, 57 for supportive living and 30 in a dedicated memory care neighborhood for individuals living with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
New residents and employees must receive a negative COVID-19 test result before their move-in or start date.
After move-in, new residents will be tested again and supported by staff wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Atria Cranberry Woods provides ongoing testing, strict safety protocols, expanded telehealth and opportunities to connect safely with other residents and family.
Atria's well-being app communicates resident COVID-19 symptom tracking and important announcements in real time.
Individuals may learn more about Atria's COVID-19 response measures on the website, AtriaSafeTogether.com.
Atria conducted its first COVID-19 vaccine clinic for residents and staff at Atria Cranberry Woods Jan. 22 through its national pharmacy partner, CVS Health.
The second clinic is scheduled for Feb. 12, with a third “make up” clinic to take place later.
New residents moving in before Feb. 12 are eligible to receive both vaccine doses.
