Vicky Sue Black, 61, of Harrisville, passed away at her residence Tuesday, April 29, 2025, with loving family at her side, following a one-year illness.

Vicky was born in Grove City on Aug. 14, 1963, to Virgil Marion Redmond and Mary Louise Thompson Redmond.

She married James R. Black on Feb. 14, 2003. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed camping, kayaking, playing cards and competing with her sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Jim, at home; two daughters, Mandy (Mike) Ellsworth of Akron, Ohio, and Mary Jones of Harrisville; son, Aaron (Terasa) Gregory of Hadley; mother, Mary Louise Wilson of Harrisville; three sisters, Bonny Baker of Mercer, Judy (Scott) Grisham of Tyner, N.C., and Donna (Gene) Charles of Akron, Ohio; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Vicky was preceded in death by her son, Adam; daughter, Bobbie Sue Farr; father, Virgil Redmond; stepfather, Bill Wilson; granddaughter, Natalie Jones; and two brothers, Ronny and Denny Redmond.

BLACK — There will be no public services for Vicky Sue Black, who died Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
