Man charged with threats after suspected road rage incident
An Emlenton man was charged with terrorist threats after a suspected road rage incident around 4:30 p.m. Aug. 29 on Interstate 79 in Findley Township, Mercer County.
Timothy Saar, 60, is accused of waving his gun at Richard Shively, 59, of Sewickley following what began as road rage while traveling north on I-79, according to a state police report.
Saar, who is a felon, was stopped by officers with a loaded handgun located inside the vehicle.
The Venango County man was charged with illegally possessing a gun, carrying a firearm without a permit, and terroristic threats.
