'30 Rock's' Morgan is in rehab
Tracy Morgan is making progress as he recovers from injuries suffered in a June 7 crash that killed a friend and injured two others.
“Tracy has been transferred to an undisclosed rehab center, where he is expected to remain for the next few weeks,” his representative Lewis Kay said in a statement Friday.
“While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go,” Kay added.
The “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live” actor suffered injuries including a broken nose, ribs and legs in the crash on the New Jersey Turnpike. He was initially hospitalized in critical condition, but that was upgraded to fair condition earlier this week.
Comic James “Jimmy Mack” McNair died in the wreck, which happened at 1 a.m. that Saturday. Comic Ardie Fuqua and Morgan’s assistant Jeff Millea were both critically injured, though Millea, like Morgan, was upgraded to fair condition this week. They were on their way back from a Friday-night gig at a Delaware casino.
