Lillian M. Vance
Lillian M. Vance, 102, of the Arbors III at St. Barnabas in Richland Township, where she lived for the past 10 years, died Wednesday morning at the Arbors. She formerly was of Mars and Butler.
Born in Mars on May 26, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Agnes Miller McElheny.
Lillian was a retired office worker and had been a member of the First United Methodist Church of Butler.
Surviving are one step-daughter, Joan McCollough in Rhode Island; two step-grandchildren, Vance McCollough and Ann Caldwell; four nieces, Norma Rice of Evans City, Marjorie Landon of Harrisburg, Gay Nerlinger in Florida and Arlene Lopert of Mechanicsburg; two nephews, Harold McElheny of Elizabethtown and Tom McElheny in California; and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William P. Vance, one sister, and four brothers.
VANCE — Friends of Lillian M. Vance, who died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. Service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
