Victory Family Church announces Easter festivities
Victory Family Church in New Castle is welcoming families to its annual egg hunt and Easter entertainment April 18 and 19.
Egg hunts in the church’s “Eggstravaganza” are separated into five groups: ages 0 to 3, ages 4 to 6, grades 1 to 3, grades 4 to 6, and an exclusive hunt for children with special needs.
Children also will be able to meet the Easter Bunny, various princesses and popular characters, and enjoy puppet shows at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., and 1 p.m. Activities for children — such as temporary tattoos, balloon artistry, sand art, galactic battles, inflatable play areas and a touch-a-truck event — also will be available.
The event is free, but guests are encouraged to bring money for food trucks, vendors and egg baskets. Festivities will kick off at 10 a.m. both days at New Castle Jr./Sr. High School. The event will be held rain or shine.
