Paul E. Rodgers
Paul E. Rodgers, 85, of Butler passed away, Monday afternoon, March 15, 2021, at ACMH Hospital.
Born April 23, 1935, in Butler, he was a son of the late Joseph Rodgers and Marie (Geibel) Rodgers.
Paul had worked for the Oesterling Trucking Co., the Pullman Standard Car Co. and then for the Kar-Kare Auto Center.
He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Summit Township Sportsman Club.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and had enjoyed hunting and tinkering with his tractors and lawn mowers.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in Company B 8th Battalion, 2nd Infantry Training Regiment.Surviving are his children, Pam (Dave) Daugherty of Louisville, Ky., Teresa (Jeff) Hepler, Rita Cravener, Paul (Marie) Rodgers Jr., Ellen Enslen (Charles Shever) and Wayne Rodgers, all of Butler; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; three brothers, Gerald Rodgers and Leo (Helen) Rodgers, both of Butler, and Carl (Kathy) Rodgers of Kenei, Alaska; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn C. (Rearick) Rodgers, whom he married Dec. 18, 1965, and who passed away Nov. 19, 2017; one daughter, Darla Rodgers; one grandson, Joshua Hepler; two great-grandchildren, Jayden Enslen and Caitlin Hoffman; four brothers George, Clyde, Rege and Ed; and one sister, Mary.RODGERS — Friends of Paul E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
