James Bryan Eva
James Bryan Eva, 48, of Holly Road, Chicora, died at 7:57 p.m. Sunday at his home after a yearlong battle with cancer.
Born in Butler, April 24, 1959, he was a son of the late John J. and Bernadine Litzinger Eva.
He graduated from Karns City High School in 1977 and had worked at ServiStar for 20 years before starting his own business as a commercial mortgage broker.
Mr. Eva was a member of the Chicora Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, the former Leann L. Ashcraft, whom he married May 29, 1982, in Butler; two sons: Caleb and Aaron Eva, both at home; two brothers, John Eva of Parker and Robert Eva of Chicora; two sisters, Barbara Crawford and Janet Feenstra, both of Ocala, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
<B>EVA</B> — Services for James Bryan Eva, who died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Chicora, with Steve Teague of Hawkins, Texas, officiating.Arrangements are being handled by the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, Petrolia.
