Butler graduate Michele Ritchey scored 10 points as the Butler County Community College women's basketball took a 54-42 victory from Penn State-New Kensington Tuesday.

The Pioneers (3-0) play at 8 p.m. Monday against Franciscan (Ohio) University in the BC3 Tip-Off Tournament.

Men's BasketballBC3 split its first two games in the Harrisburg area over the weekend.The Pioneers dropped their opener, 85-70, to North Hampton while facing a frontcourt of players 6-feet-11, 6-9 and 6-7. BC3's tallest player is 6-3.Cory Doty scored 24 points for the Pioneers while Kevin Scott added 17 points and nine rebounds. Knoch graduate Ryan Ziacik had 11 points and seven boards.BC3 rebounded to defeat Harrisburg Community College, 72-48, as Butler graduate Blake Anderson scored 19 points, Scott added 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Doty had 10 assists.
