Audrey V. Shearer
Audrey V. Shearer, 75, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Oct. 11, 1941, in Butler, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Welch Ealy.
Audrey had retired after 18 years as an aide and in the housekeeping department from the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed quilting and going to casinos.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Donald Shearer of Butler; her three daughters, Kandy (Fred) Pflugh of Hooker, Margaret (Wayne) Burk of Grove City and Barb Yohe of Eau Claire; three sons, Randy Ealy of Grove City, Andy Kougher of Hilliards and George Kougher of Grove City; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Pizzuto of Butler; and four brothers, Andrew Ealy of Hilliards, John (Debbie) Ealy of Karns City, Calvin Ealy of Oklahoma and Carl Ealy of Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, six sisters and one great-great-grandchild.
SHEARER — Friends of Audrey V. Shearer, who died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Chaplain David Walters of the Amedisys Hospice officiating.
