ABBEY BASTA (Slippery Rock), a freshman on the Westminster College women's track and field team, broke her own school record in the 100-meter hurdles with a third-place time of 16.06 seconds at the Bill Van Horne Invitational at Wheeling (W.Va.) Jesuit University.•

BOB RUMMEL and RYAN McKINNEY (Knoch), members of the Grove City College men's track and field team, placed second in the 110 high hurdles (15.95 seconds) and fourth in the pole vault (12 feet), respectively, at the Bill Van Horne Invitational at Wheeling Jesuit University.•

DAN STATLER (Grove City College) was named Presidents' Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week. The sophomore carded a 78 to earn medalist honors at the Waynesburg Invitational.•

RENEE WARD (Grove City College) was named PACWomen's Golfer of the Week. The freshman shot an 89 to earn medalist honors at the Waynesburg Invitational.•

PETER DAVIS (Grove City College) was named PACMen's Tennis Player of the Week. The sophomore compiled a 4-0 record in singles and 3-0 record in doubles for the Wolverines.•

MELANIE BUCZKO (Butler), a member of the Bucknell University women's track and field team, won the pole vault event at the George Mason Invitational, clearing 12 feet, 5½ inches, which is an NCAAregional and ECACqualifying mark.•

ANDI ROSE (Slippery Rock University) was named PSACWomen's Track Performer of the Week. The senior improved on a pair of provisional NCAA Division IIqualifying times while competing at the Charlotte Invitational. She won the 100-meter hurdles in 13.99 seconds and finished second in the 400 meters at 1:01.60.•

JENNIFER HANSEN (Slippery Rock University) was named PSAC Women's Field Performer of the Week. The sophomore won the pole vault event at the Charlotte Invitational when she cleared 12 feet, 8C\v inches, breaking her own conference record.•

JANE WILSON (Grove City College was named Collegiate Water Polo Association Western Division Player of the Week. The freshman scored 18 goals and recorded 20 steals in Grove City's six victories at the Carthage (Wisc.) Invitational March 30 and 31.
