E. Jean Wagner

E. Jean Wagner, 59, of Renfrew died at 3:10 a.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

She was born Feb. 24, 1948, in Butler, daughter of the late Charles W. and Esther L. Benoit Hanneman.

She was a member of the Church of the Heights in Gibsonia. She belonged to many prayer groups.

Mrs. Wagner enjoyed going to flea markets and yard sales.

She worked in food service for the Butler School District for 20 years.

Surviving are her husband, August "Gus" E. Wagner, whom she married March 1, 1969; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Wendy) Eppinger Jr. of Chicora; a son, Fred Wagner and his wife, Patty, of Fairbanks, Alaska; two sisters, Carol Steffler of Evans City and Mrs. John (Gayle) Gundlach of Saxonburg; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

<B>Wagner</B> — Friends of E. Jean Wag-ner, who died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St.Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Heights, 500 Salem Lane, Gibsonia, with the Rev. Ralph Vogel officiating.
